Restoring Order: Mid-Week Progress

I have made a little progress since I posted on Monday. Here are a few pics from what I have done this week. I hope to have this project finished and the last pics posted by Saturday.


The bottom cabinet cleaned out and ready to be reorganized.

My drawers rearranged. There wasn't a lot of loose stuff so instead of buying a drawer organizer I just put the random screws and such in Ziploc bags. I might change this later....

The open cabinet above my dryer is cleaned out and dusted. The box is my un-clipped coupons and local sale adds. I'm actually working on a coupon binder today so hopefully this box will be empty later tonight.

Restoring Order: Laundry Room Cabinets

My project for this weeks Restoring Order Challenge is my laundry room cabinets. As I was going through them the other day I realized how much wasted storage space there was in them. So unless my plans fall through I should have neatly, organized cabinets by the end of the week!! I also plan on posting mid-week progress on Wednesday.

This is are bills and important papers drawers. I plan to clean it out and file everything this week too.

Restoring Order: Half Way Through and the Finished Product

As I promised in my post earlier this week, here are the "in progress" pictures of Olivia's room.

Between all the hand-me-downs and presents from grandmothers she has a rather large wardrobe. I still have a tote full of clothes for a garage sale or goodwill.

I worked on this for about 2 hours this week. It wouldn't have taken that long if Olivia hadn't been pull the clothes out of the drawers as fast as I was putting them in. :-)

And here is the job all finished. I even have some of her things that are still to big in the tote above. I loved putting one thing in my house in order this week.

Restoring Order: Olivia's Clothes

I have decided to join up with The Homespun Heart and That's What It's All About in restoring order in my home. Cleaning out Olivia's closet and organizing her spring/summer clothes is my first project.
