Headed to the Hospital
Well we are off to the hospital tomorrow morning for baby #2's scheduled induction. Olivia is staying with Eric's parents for a few days starting tonight. ( we have to be at the hospital between 4:30 and 5 AM!!) I had an appointment with my OB yesterday and everything looks great!! I'm dilated to 3 1/2 cm so I'm hoping that things will go quickly tomorrow. I'm going to "attempt" to have this baby without any pain medication so please keep me in your prayers!! I hope to be back here with a picture of our new family of four before Christmas. Merry Christmas to you all!!

Pregnancy Update: 31 weeks

I know this is a horrible picture but it was the best I could do and I was in a bit of a hurry. So here I am in all my big belly glory. :-) I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything looks great!! If everything goes as planned (I begin dilating and thinning out) we are planning to induce labor somewhere around December 15. Looking forward to having our baby boy with us soon!!

Pregnancy Nesting 101: Master To-Do List
I will soon hit the 24 week mark of this pregnancy and already the nesting has started. I was up till midnight last night working on a to-do list I hope to accomplish before our baby boy arrives. When I was pregnant with Olivia the constant nausea and tiredness along with it being my first baby kept me from having a lot of "plans" before her birth. This pregnancy has been so easy and I am hoping the energy I have now remains till this baby arrives.
So as I have said before posting my to-do list in this blog gives me some accountability and encouragement to finish the task before me. This is just a list of random ideas and task that may or may not be a priority for me later on so please don't blame me if I leave a few undone. As this pregnancy continues I will most likely add a few more things to this list. Feel free to comment if you think of anything that helped you post-baby. I would also love to hear of any meals that our freezer friendly for my stockpile I hope to prepare.

Master To-Do List:
- Budget for the months of September 09-March 10
- Set up and Excel spreadsheet to keep up with our budget
- Menu plan for the month of September ( I am going to try menu planning for the month instead of just a week and see if I like it better.)
- Start a Price List for the best sale prices
- Start a stockpile for my pantry and freezer (For after the baby as well as a 3 month emergency supply)
- Prepare freezer meals for after the baby ( I plan to post my list of meals later... would love to here your ideas!!)
- Deep clean (fall cleaning) each room in the house (Living room, nursery, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and laundry room/office)
- Store away all of Olivia and Eric's summer clothes (October project)
- Store all of Olivia and Noah's clothing in one dresser ( Right now I have the dresser and two plastic storage drawers full of clothing. I plan to simplify their winter wardrobes and use the plastic drawers for craft supplies, copy paper, etc.)
- Shampoo carpets
- Clean out coat closet ( Right now it is a junk closet )
- Put up some railing and a gate around the back porch for Olivia ( A outdoor play area the is safe for the fall and spring)
- Start purchasing Christmas gifts and birthday gifts for the months of Nov, Dec, and Jan.
- Read up on Bradley method of childbirth (This is something I would possibly like to do with this birth)
- Set up baby swing ( December project)
- Pack bag for hospital stay and a bag for Olivia (December project)

Pregnancy Update: 17 weeks
I can't believe that I am almost half way through this pregnancy!! It seemed like time creeped by with Olivia but this one has literally flown by. I have definitely began to show with this one :-) I believe it has something to do with all the "stuff" being stretched out with my first pregnancy. I'm also happy to announce that the morning sickness has left me for good. I have been nausea free for a little over 2 weeks now. Hooray!!! We go next week for our 2nd ultrasound and we should find out the gender then. (Sorry about the quality of the pic but this was the best I could do. And the reason my bed isn't made is because I washed my sheets and they were in the dryer.)

Since I last disappered....
A lot of things have been going on here. I can't believe it has been weeks since I last posted anything. The morning sickness and sleepiness has kept me from doing some things so I had to set my priorities in line and choose only the most important. I am feeling better these days and even though the nausea still lingers I hope to begin blogging regularly again in the next week or so.
I go to my first doctor appointment next week and I hope the ultrasound will give us a definite due date. As the days go by the realization that I am truly pregnant again is sinking in. With a 8 month old to keep up with I seem to forget sometime. :-) Is this normal?? My days are full but I am so looking forward to adding another addition to are family.
Olivia is growing so fast and everyday she is getting into something new. She is crawling all over the place now and at a speed that is hard to keep up with these days. Her vocabulary is expanding and she is beginning to repeat word we say here and there. Walking seems to be in a the near future although she is not as enthusiastic about trying now that she can crawl so well. As long as she can get around when the new baby arrives I will be happy.
We are also considering the possibility of building our house this summer. Those plans are still up in the air for a few more weeks so I will post an update later.
I would post a few pictures but I have misplaced my camera so they will have to wait till I find it.

A Short Little Blogging Break

I have decided to take a bit of a blogging break for the rest of the week. After coming home from vacation this past weekend I have needed a few days to recover (sleep). We just found out that we are expecting baby #2 and I am already starting to feel the morning sickness coming on. We are very excited though and it looks like baby ?? will be here some time in January. Please keep me in your prayers. I spent the first 22 weeks of my last pregnancy dealing with horrible morning sickness and heartburn. One thing that I am trying with this pregnancy is to eat about 6 small meals/snacks a day and try to make sure they are full of protein (nuts, peanut butter crackers, cheese, tuna on crackers, etc...) It seems like it is working for me!! I hope to be back blogging by next week but I may be a little infrequent depending on how sick I become.
