Simple Woman's Daybook

For today - Monday, November 2, 2009

Outside my window - Sunny and just slightly cool. Beautiful fall weather!!

I am thinking - that I would love to spend everyday this week outside. We have had so much rain lately that I'm beginning to feel claustrophobic in the house. :-)

I am thankful - for my Olivia and baby boy on the way!! What a blessing children are in a home.

I am wearing - gray yoga pants and a black t-shirt (this is my stay at home day)

I am remembering - what a wonderful weekend we had with Eric's extended family. We celebrated his great-grandmother's 90th birthday.

I am creating - Christmas gift ideas!!

I am going - to work on re-organizing the nursery closet this week. Eric tore out the old hanging system and added new hanging rods. Now I just have to get some shelves in and organize it to my liking. (I'll post pictures later)

I am reading - The book of Romans (my Bible reading for November)

I am hoping - my family gets well soon. They have all had the flu this past week :-(

On my mind - grocery shopping...I plan to go tonight or tomorrow.

Pondering these words - "Jesus did not send the Holy Spirit to simply RESIDE IN our bodies but to PRESIDE OVER them." (from the book, God Space)

From the kitchen - Loaded Baked Potatoes w/ leftover chili and cheese

Around the house - Olivia is napping, laundry is drying, and the house is de-cluttered from the weekend.

One of my favorite things - evening spent at home with my family.

A few plans for the rest of the week - errands, cleaning, laundry, mid-week church service, a baby shower for me Thursday evening, and Thanksgiving with my family at our cabin on the river!!!

From my picture journal

Olivia did not like the cowgirl outfit we dressed her in for "Trunk or Treating" at our family get together :-)

Your little girl is so cute. Some little ones don't like the way some things feel on them. I had that problem with one of mine. It sounds like you have every thing under control. I like your meal. Doylene
