Frugal Friday: Garage Sale Finds

We have a group of ladies that put together a huge consignment like garage sale at our local fair ground twice a year. This weekend was the fall/winter sale and here are a few things I picked up. Boppy (like new with slipcover)- $15

3 pair 0f baby boy shoes (great condition/2 Robeez brand and 1 Baby Koala)- $3 each

2 sets of ABeka Kindergarten readers- $ 1 each

2 children's books- $.50 each

To Train Up a Child book by Michael and Debi Pearl- $ 1

Super Saving Saturday: MORE GREAT DEALS!!!

The consignment sale I went to yesterday was huge and I had a limited amount of time to look around, so Olivia and I went back today to have another look. Here are a few more things I picked up for Olivia and 9 bibs for baby boy on the way. I spent right at $30 for all the items above. (all Gymbore, Old Navy, and Gap brands)

My biggest score of the day was these Pediped shoes for Olivia. They average $30 retail price and I paid $4. ( and they are in excellent condition!!!)

Great Bargain Finds!!

We had a huge consignment sale at our local fair grounds this weekend and here are a few things I picked up for our baby boy who is on the way.

I paid $48 for all the items above and the majority of it is Carter's brand that is in excellent condition!!

I also picked up a maternity denim skirt for $3.

Frugal Friday: Garage Sale Finds

I love going to garage and yard sales. Through the years my mom, grandma, and I have had lots of fun shopping these "frugal mini stores" and found some great deals. This past week I was really wanting to go and hit a few sales but with a little baby, that requires naps, it didn't work out. I did go to a large multi-family sale that was going on at our local fair ground and come away with a few good deals. This dress has to be my favorite and I picked it up for only $2. (IT WAS BRAND NEW WITH THE TAGS STILL ATTACHED!!!)

I also found a pair of $1 sandals for Olivia, a brand new leather wallet for $3, and 2 pair of Old Navy bermuda short for $3 each.

I think I got my fix for a little while :-)
