Simple Woman's Daybook: January 11

For Today...

Outside my window...it is cloudy and cold.

I am thankful...that Noah has finally recovered from the RSV. We are finally off the updraft/breathing treatment The only thing remaining is a little bit of a stuffy nose.

I am thinking...life has changed with the addition of Noah to our family. We are home a lot more (mainly because of his sickness and the COLD weather) and my time is filled with constant activity of caring for two kids.

I am wearing...gray jogging pants and a long sleeve t-shirt.

I am going... to the grocery store tonight. Eric is going to watch the kids.

I am currently reading... The Hawk and the Jewel by Lori Wick

I am hoping... for warmer weather...we are about to freeze around here :-)

On my mind...church services. We have missed for several weeks now (because of Noah's sickness) and I'm ready for the fellowship again.

I am hearing...the new Shane and Shane cd playing in the background.

From the kitchen... Hamburger steaks w/ gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and homemade biscuits

Around the house...Olivia is napping, Noah is streched out in my lap, laundry needs folded, and supper is started on the stove.

Plans for the rest of the week...grocery shopping, Olivia is going to her great-grandma's for the day tomorrow, cleaning, organizing, and lots of time spent at home with my wonderful family

One of my favorite things...being snuggled up on the couch with my babies and hubby!!

Here is a picture thought for you...

I followed your comment on Passionate Homemaking to here because I noticed that you have two close together. Our girls are 14 months apart. It's fun, but can be challenging also. God bless you!
