Simple Woman's Daybook: December 7

For today...
Outside my window... the morning was dreary and wet but now the sun is trying to come out!! Still very cold.
I am thankful for... a home to call my own. It may be small and humble but I’m very blessed to have it as well as a wonderful family!!
I am wearing... navy blue jogging pants w/ a royal blue hoodie. Just trying to stay warm :-)
I am remembering... Olivia laughing at her daddy during lunch today. They were playing in the living room and she couldn't quit laughing. It was so precious :-)
I am going... to stay home as much as possible this week. Baby # 2 should be here sometime next week and with all the holiday events coming up I need to finish some projects and cleaning
I am reading... Shepherds Abiding by Jan Karon
I am hoping....that work goes smoothly for Eric this week. He is trying to get caught up before the baby and Christmas arrives.
On my mind... creating a craft/sewing (for my sewing machine that I have yet to learn how to use) center in my house.
From the kitchen... chicken fried steak (venison steak) w/ mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and homemade biscuits.
Around the house... Olivia is napping, Christmas music is playing, everything is tidy, my laundry is drying, and supper is already in the works.
Plans for the week... a dinner theater date with Eric and my grandma, mid-week church service, doctors appointment, baby shower for friend, and Christmas party at the church.
One of my favorite things... Christmas fudge :-)

From my picture journal…
Merry Christmas!!!
