Simple Woman's Daybook: November 16th

For Today...

Outside my window...cloudy with a shower here and there...the temperatures are dropping as the day goes on.

I am thinking....about all the Christmas shopping I need to get done before Noah arrives.

I am thankful for...a wonderful church family!!

I am wearing.... grey yoga pants with a pink maternity t-shirt (cleaning the house clothes)

I am remembering....the cute little dress Olivia wore on Thanksgiving last year. I love dressing her up for special occasions!!

I am going.....to my parents for supper tonight.

I am reading....blogs and my Bible.

I am hoping....that this baby boy in my belly comes before his due date (Olivia was 5 days late)... I'm very uncomfortable and having more contractions lately.

On my mind....a friend who is having surgery Thursday. Please keep her in your prayers.

Noticing that....all the leaves have fallen off the trees and are now all over my yard :-) We have been busy.

Pondering the words.... "Enough is as good as a feast" Ma Ingalls (Little House on the Prairie)

From the Kitchen....I'm taking a Mexican chicken casserole and corn on the cob to mom's tonight. She is making green beans, homemade bread, and dessert.

Around the house....everything is clean!! I dusted, vacuumed, mopped and cleaned the bathroom this morning. Now all I have to do is fold 1 load of laundry and put new sheets on the beds.

One of my favorite things....my wonderful husband!!!

From my picture journal.....this is the kitchen set I finally decided to purchase. I picked it up at Target since they had a coupon in there toy catalog. Thanks to everyone who shared there advice!!

Great daybook! I was 5 days late with Micah! Glad to know someone else who has endured what I like to call as the longest 5 days of my life! Especially since my oldest was 3 weeks early and my 2nd was 3 days early. I was not expecting late! :-)
