Simple Woman's Daybook: July 27

For Today...
Outside my window... Sunny with a few clouds...there is a chance of rain for every day this week.

I am thinking… that all the back to school sales are making me wish I had kids old enough to home school already. I am enjoying these baby years, but I look forward to the day when we begin our family's homeschooling days.
From the learning rooms... Olivia is beginning to walk on her own. It is still the early stage of 3 or 4 steps before she gets unbalanced and falls on her bottom. :-)
I am thankful for...the little baby boy that is growing inside me!! :-) We are so looking forward to having one of each gender.
From the kitchen...we are having Beef Stroganoff and salad with rolls tonight.
I am wearing... blue jean shorts with a black and white maternity top.

I am reading... On a Whim by Robin Jones Gunn (I read the Christy Miller and Sierra Jensen series years ago so I couldn't resist buying the first 2 of the new Katie Weldon series!!)
I am hoping...that it doesn't rain a lot this week. Our business doesn't need it at all.
I am creating... organized closets this week. I am hoping to get a dresser from my mom for the kids room this week. Olivia and Eric share the closet in there and with the new baby coming there just isn't enough room for every ones clothing. I also need to pack away all of Olivia's 6-9 months stuff since she is in 12 month clothing now.
I am hearing... silence...it's nap time!!
Around the house....the house is picked up and clean, I have one small load of laundry to fold, I will start cooking supper in about 20 minutes.
One of my favorite things... cooking/baking and trying out new recipes.
A few plans for the rest of the week...a trip to Walgreen's, clothing organizations, cleaning out and pricing things for our church rummage sale, a visit with my mom, cleaning and laundry.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
Sunday afternoon ritual :-)

I grew up reading the Christy Miller series, so I have read the new Katie Welden books as well. Don't you love them? When I read them I feel like I am having a reunion with old friends.

What a fun peek into your life..thanks for sharing it! Loved your picture thought...My huby Dan takes a Sunday nap, too...but at out house it isn't safe to lay down in the LR..so he hides in our room...LOL! At out house, laying down is an invite for a wrestling match...and with all these boys running around, he would never get any sleep. :) Hope you get all those cloests organized!
Blessings,
Kristy
