SWD: June 22

Outside my window… it is very, very, very hot.....perfect weather for cooling off in the pool.

I am thinking… that I can't wait till baby #2 arrives... I am 14 weeks along and my due date is December 22.

I am thankful for… a pantry and fridge that is stocked full with groceries for a week or 2....and for my wonderful mother-in- law who watched baby O while I went to buy my groceries....it was so much easier :-)

From the learning rooms… Scripture memorization and lots of reading!!

From the kitchen… fresh baked chocolate chip cookies...yummy!! I'm also chilling eggs for deviled eggs and browning the meat for our sloppy joes.

I am wearing… khaki shorts and a brown t-shirt.

I am creating… I'm planning to start working on an album/scrapbook for Olivia in the next week or so.

I am going… to the kitchen to finish supper soon....maybe to the pool later.

I am reading… Remember by Karen Kingbury and Gary Smalley. I'm headed to the library this week and I hope to find some good books on tape. I love to listen to them while I am cooking or cleaning.

I am hoping… that the weather will cool down just a bit...ha ha fat chance since it's not even July yet!

I am hearing… silence...Olivia is sleeping.

Around the house… there is just one load of laundry left that needs to be dried and folded...Eric will be home in less than an hour....

One of my favorite things… Swimming!!!

A few plans for the rest of the week: a little cleaning and laundry each day, a visit with my mom tomorrow, a trip to the library, and ladies bible study on Friday.

Here is picture thought I am sharing…

I keep reading about how hot it is over there .... the heat I get over here is coming from a heater, lol.

Olivia looks so cute in that photo.

God Bless,
Elena :)

Thank you for linking your Simple Woman’s Daybook at Grandmother Wren’s last week.
Please stop by this week and add your link again. I’d love to see this continue throughout the summer, allowing us to stay in touch with other Daybookers during Peggy’s vacation.
Please keep coming back –
I look forward to seeing you!
