Simple Woman's Daybook: February 15

Outside my window…the sun is shining and there is just a few patches of snow left from last weeks storm.

I am thinking…about the funny/sweet cards my husband/children got me for Valentines along with a Yankee candle!!

I am thankful for…a husband who works hard and who has made it possible for us to be debt free in a month or so.

I am praying…for my little Noah. He is sick again and has to go to the doctor in the morning. It looks like an ear infection.

From the kitchen…Chicken Alfredo w/ steamed broccoli and cheese biscuits…yummy!!

I am wearing…grey yoga pants with a pink jacket.

I am reading…my Bible and blogs. I hope to start a new book this week.

I am hoping…for warmer weather soon.

I am creating…I am trying to learn how to use my sewing machine.

Around the house…supper is cooking and the kids are sleeping and playing.

One of my favorite things…cooking.

A few plans for the rest of the week…doctor’s appointment tomorrow, cooking, cleaning, church, visit with some friends, family dinner, and a fun weekend at home.

And a picture…of my hubby because I just can’t get enough of him :-)

Great daybook entry! That is soooo awesome you are about to be debt free. Did you follow the Dave Ramsey plan?

I love Yankee Candles. ;o)

We did follow his plan a little. We have been on a budget since we got married but we will finish paying off the debt with some extra income that is coming and our income tax return. Once we have it all payed off we are planning to begin saving for a house. We would like to have enough for a big down payment or 100% if we can save it before we out grow our rent house.

Enjoyed my first stop by your blog. It's always refreshing to read about someone who is happy in their role as wife and mother. There is no greater job in the world with any greater rewards. Blessings to you!
