Simple Woman's Daybook: June 29

For Today...Outside my window... a hot sunny day with very little humidity…Praise the Lord!!!

I am thinking… that I really need to be reading more but I just haven’t been in the mood lately.

From the learning rooms... nothing much right now….

I am thankful for... family….

From the kitchen... nothing tonight since Eric will be fishing and I plan to go visit my grandma. I do have plans to bake Sausage and Biscuit balls and banana bread this week. I will post pictures and recipes later.

I am wearing... khaki capris and a brown t-shirt

I am reading... mainly blogs….I am trying to finish Remember by Karen Kingsbury and I got a few book on tape at the library last week. Home to Holly Springs by Jan Karon and The Proposal by Lori Wick.

I am hoping... that the weather stays beautiful for our 4th of July family get-together.

I am creating... a new budget for the month of July.

I am hearing... silence….Olivia and Garrett (a cousin I baby-sit occasionally) are both asleep.

Around the house.... laundry that is clean and needs to be folded, all my groceries are bought for the week, and hopefully a husband walking in the door soon.

One of my favorite things... children…I can’t wait for the day when our home is over-flowing with them all!!!

A few plans for the rest of the week... visit with my mom, swimming, packing for our trip, baking, cleaning the house, etc….

Here are a few picture thoughts I am sharing with you...
The Many Moods of Olivia
This is her "are you going to get me face." This mood takes place while we are playing or after she has made a dirty diaper :-) Sorry about the quality of the picture but I didn't take it and I couldn't resist that face.

This is her concentration face. Usually happens when she is trying to do something that is a "no no"
Or sometimes it is just her silly face.

This is her "Oh no I've been caught face"

And this is her "sleepy face"

Hi, Lauren,

I enjoyed your Daybook, especially photos of darling Olivia. She looks to be the same age as my darling granddaughter, Carly. <3

The photos are so cute. Brigns back memories for me - my 'baby' is 17 and he'll be 18 in a few months time.

Have a great week.

ciao for now,
Elena :)
